G. MICHAEL CURLS (1940-2003), Former President and Founder, of ALLIANCE PROPERTY GROUP INC. In 1998, G. Michael Curls co-founded ALLIANCE PROPERTY GROUP INC. with a vision for establishing a full service, community-based real estate development firm. In carrying out this vision, ALLIANCE PROPERTY GROUP INC. has been involved in real estate developments, including multi-family, single family and commercial development, construction management and development consulting services including financings with low income housing tax credits, tax-exempt bonds, governmental subsidies and other conventional sources of financing.
DANIELLE CURLS BENNETT, President of ALLIANCE PROPERTY GROUP INC. Ms. Bennett is responsible for overseeing all the activities of ALLIANCE PROPERTY GROUP INC. Ms. Bennett is extensively experienced in all aspects of ALLIANCE PROPERTY GROUP INC.’s operations and real estate development activities including acquisition, financial structuring, development and disposition. Ms. Bennett's specialty in finance has contributed to financings for single and multi-family developments involving low income housing tax credits, tax-exempt bonds and other federal and local government subsidies. Ms. Bennett has been directly involved in the construction management activities in her capacity as Chief Executive Officer of ACTS, a construction management firm wholly-owned by Alliance Property Group Inc. Ms. Bennett graduated Summa Cum Laude from National University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
HARLEY A. SEARCY, Chief Executive Officer of ALLIANCE PROPERTY GROUP INC. Mr. Searcy, co-founder of Alliance Property Group Inc., is responsible for oversight and management of the development, architectural and construction operations of the firm. Mr. Searcy works directly with the firm’s third-party general contractors, suppliers and consultants. Mr. Searcy is also President of ACTS, a construction management firm wholly-owned by Alliance Property Group Inc. Mr. Searcy has over 25 years of hands on experience in real estate development. His experience includes development and management of commercial, public facilities and housing developments. He is responsible for the oversight of entitlements, acquisition, construction, environmental compliance, and development activities. From 1979 to 1984, Mr. Searcy served as General Counsel and Interim Executive Director for the State of California’s $400 million Century Freeway Housing Replacement Program. Mr. Searcy was also a Joint Venture Partner with Lewis Homes of California in a 110 single family home subdivision successfully marketed for approximately $55 million. Mr. Searcy graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles with a Bachelors of Art in English and from Stanford University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree. Mr. Searcy is a licensed Real Estate Broker.
ROBERT E. TARNOFSKY, Principal of ALLIANCE PROPERTY GROUP INC. Mr. Tarnofsky brings over 20 years of executive level involvement in the development of institutional quality commercial assets. As Co-founder of West Los Angeles based development firm of Goldleaf Partners, he developed over 1,250,000 square feet of Class A commercial office and retail space, a majority of which was completed in joint venture with institutional partners such as Aldrich, Eastman & Waltch. Highlighted projects include an eight story 165,000 sq. ft. office tower that now serves as corporate home for the Nadel Partnership, located at 1990 Bundy in Los Angeles California and the La Cienega/Slauson Business Park, a 625,000 square foot waterscape themed office park terraced over 15 acres of land. Mr. Tarnofsky also brings his expertise in construction management in his role as Executive Vice President for ACTS. Mr. Tarnofsky is an alumnus of the University of Southern California School of Business and received his MBA from the University of Colorado. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
